UN resident coordinator ends Azerbaijan tenure

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has today met outgoing UN Resident Coordinator in the country Bruno Pouezat.
Describing Azerbaijan as the “regional leader”, Pouezat praised the country`s “overall” development.

The UN Resident Coordinator said he had “effective” cooperation with the Azerbaijani government during his tenure.

He also talked about UN-supported projects in Azerbaijan.

Mammadyarov said Azerbaijan attached “great” importance to cooperation with the United Nations.
