Azerbaijani President offers condolences to Moroccan king

Azerbaijan?s President Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolence to King of Morocco Mohammed VI over the loss of lives caused by the collapse of a mosque minaret.

The letter reads: “The news of a human loss as the result of the collapse of a mosque minaret was a source of great sorrow to me. On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I offer sincere condolences to you, families and relatives of the dead and all the people of Morocco and wish speedy recovery to the injured.
May Allah rest their souls in peace.”
