Azerbaijani President offers independence day greetings to Gambian counterpart

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to Gambian counterpart Yahya Jammeh on the country's Independence Day on Feb. 17.
“I hope that friendly and cooperative relations between our countries will continue to develop in line with interests of our peoples”, the letter says.

The Azerbaijani President wished the Gambian leader robust health, successes in his activities and the friendly people of Gambia - peace and progress.
