Azerbaijani, Israeli FMs meet - UPDATE

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov held talks with his Israeli counterpart Avigdor Lieberman, during which the sides discussed political and economic relations between the two countries, the Israeli embassy in Baku said.

Today he visited Alley of Honor and laid a wreath at the grave of Haydar Aliyev and then he visited Martyrs’ Alley.

Lieberman will meet with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov, Minister of Emergency Situations Kemaladdin Heydarov, Parliament Speaker Ogtay Asadov, members of the Jewish community in Azerbaijan.

The issues of international policy and security will be discussed at the meeting.

The visit will end on Feb. 11.
