Before the London conference on Afghanistan, Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov discussed with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

Lavrov briefed Clinton on the recent Sochi meeting of the Azerbaijani, Russian and Armenian presidents on the issue.
He noted all sides were interested in soonest resolution to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
They also discussed other issues, including a new agreement on reduction and limitation of strategic offensive arms, situation in Iran and difficulties that Russian companies face in the United States.
