Azerbaijani FM: Reports that Karabakh’s Armenian community will be involved with talks are groundless

He was commenting on the Armenian media reports claiming that Armenian community of the so-called Nagorno-Karabakh Republic will be involved with the talks on peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

“The talks on resolving the Karabakh conflict are held by Armenia and Azerbaijan, the conflicting sides themselves. Reports that the Armenian community will be involved with the negotiations are untrue” the spokesperson said.

“The issue of involving both of the Nagorno-Karabakh communities with the negotiations can be raised only after an appropriate understanding is reached on the conflict resolution. It is unfounded to raise this issue at current stage,” Polukhov said.
