Russian ambassador: Preservation of Russian language in Azerbaijan is a a unique case

“I have seen it with own eyes today, acquainted myself how Russian is taught to pupils. We are very glad that the Russian language is supported in Azerbaijan on the governmental level,” ambassador Vladimir Dorokhin said.

The ambassador said the diplomatic mission was cooperating with Azerbaijan’s Education Ministry.

“For the first time Russian is taught in Azerbaijan as a foreign language. Therefore we are offering methodical help and help to enhance skills of teachers,” he added.
