Azerbaijan's opposition party attempts to picket outside U.S. embassy in Baku

A group of members of Azerbaijan's opposition Muasir Musavat Party attempted to picket outside the U.S. embassy in Azerbaijan, the party’s press office said.
The picketers protested allocation of $8 million by the U.S. Congress to the separatist Nagorno Karabakh.

The police prevented the picket and several members of the party were taken to Nasimi district police office.

They were released after they gave statements.
