“No concrete decision has been made regarding establishment of an opposition alliance in Azerbaijan,” Azerbaijan Democratic Party Chairman Sardar Jalaloglu said.

“The opposition parties should first study possibility of creating single political platform prior to the 2010 parliamentary elections. Then, based on the information received, they can think about configuration of the opposition forces,” he said.
“I think the opposition should determine what common position serious political forces can take to run for the 2010 parliamentary elections so that based on this we will create a model and configuration of our forces,” Jalaloglu said.
“The talks on this issue will begin after the municipal elections,” the party chief said.
Azerbaijan will hold municipal elections on Dec. 23.
