Azerbaijani president offers condolences to Turkish counterpart

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolence to Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gul on human loss after an explosion at a coal mine in the country's Bursa province.

“The news of a human loss as a result of explosion at a coal mine was a source of great sorrow to me," the letter said.

“I share your sorrow over the tragedy occurred. On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I offer my profound condolence to you, families and relatives of the dead and all fraternal people of Turkey.May Allah rest their souls in peace!” the letter said.
