Greek Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, OSCE Chairman-in-Office George Papandreou highly appreciated the OSCE Minsk Group efforts toward resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict at the 17th OSCE Ministerial Council in Athens.
Papandreou emphasized the importance of solution of long-standing problems.
“Co-chairs are constantly supporting the Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents to solve disagreements. Here in Athens we see support of all OSCE member countries. Both the OSCE chairmanship and member countries should make more efforts toward solving the conflict," the Greek PM said.
Papandreou said he hoped Kazakhstan will make its contribution to the conflict resolution as the OSCE president from 2010.
