Barack Obama congratulates Azerbaijani people on Gurban Holiday

President of the United States of America Barack Obama has sent a congratulatory telegram to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev  on the occasion of Gurban Holiday.

"On behalf of the American people, I extend my best wishes as You and your people celebrate the reverent and joyous occasion of Eid Al-Adha," President Obama said in a telegram.

"My hope is that in the spirit of this blessed celebration we can work together to achieve freedom and peace throughout the world. May you and the people of Azerbaijan enjoy happiness and peace in the years ahead," the telegram said.
