Azerbaijani MP offers to adopt law on occupied territories

MP Mubariz Gurbanli said no one must use Nagorno Karabakh problem to draw a political dividend.

He noted that 17,000 sq km area of Azerbaijan had been occupied.

He offered to adopt a special law on the occupied territories and ban functioning of international organizations in these territories.

For his part, Fazil Mustafa said the demolition of mosques should be stopped and underlined the necessity of involving political parties in the process of negotiations on Nagorno Karabakh.

The sitting continued with discussion on issues on the agenda.
