Newly appointed PACE co-rapporteur named timing of his visit to Azerbaijan

"I have never been to Azerbaijan, but have read books about your country,” new co-rapporteur for Azerbaijan of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Monitoring Committee Joseph Debono Grech said.

Grech said he was looking forward to visit Azerbaijan.

The Maltese parliamentarian said the co-rapporteurs plan to visit Azerbaijan in January, not later than February.

“This visit should be agreed with the other co-rapporteur. I think we will make the first visit to Azerbaijan together,” he said.

Joseph Debono Grech was appointed new co-rapporteur for Azerbaijan at the PACE Monitoring Committee meeting on Nov. 19.
