
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu met Iranian President Mahmud Ahmedinejad on November 20 amid critical international talks concerning Iran’s uranium enrichment programme.
Economic issues are reported to have dominated the agenda of the meeting as two countries stand on trade and energy routes of the region.
Iranian President said “development of our relations is not against the interest of any third parties”.
Following the interdelegational session, Davutoğlu and Ahmedinejad proceeded to private meeting with participation of Iranian Foreign Minister Muttaki.
