CIS Defense Ministers Council approves defense cooperation concept till 2015

CIS Defense Ministers Council approved the defense cooperation concept until 2015 and Action Plan until 2010 in its meeting in Dushanbe on Nov. 10.
Representatives of the defense ministries of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine attended the meeting.

The defense officials also approved the development directions of CIS United Air Defense System.

They also discussed the preparations for celebration to mark 65th anniversary of the victory of the Great Patriotic War.
