“The opposition parties have primitive willingness to expose each-other,” Azerbaijani Social Democrat Party Chairman Araz Alizade said commenting on disagreements inside the opposition Movement for Karabakh and Republic.
“The current oppositionists were united in the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan back in 1989. Later the party came apart because of their political ambitions. They have not satisfied their political ambitions. Talks about uniting of all alleged opposition are ridiculous,” Alizade said.
“Our party is also opposition, but constructive in nature. Radicals led the whole country only to a disaster. By their actions they showed that the word "democracy" is abusive. I call them "nationalist forces” who call themselves opposition,” he added.
“Their ambitions hinder them to unite,” Alizade said.
Musavat Party, member of the Movement for Karabakh and Republic, urged Umid Party to withdraw its members from the electoral commissions.
