Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry verifies accuracy of Armenian media reports

“The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry verifies accuracy of Armenian media reports,” Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Elkhan Polukhov said commenting on Armenian media reports claiming that vice mayor of Marseilles have received delegation of Karabakh separatists.

Armenian media reports say as part of a visit to France delegation of Karabakh separatists met with Vice Mayor of Marseilles, Member of the French National Assembly Roland Blum who conferred Honour medal to “speaker” of the separatist “Nagorno-Karabakh Republic” parliament  Ahot Gulyan.

“Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has sent an inquiry to country’s embassy in France to verify the reports,” Polukhov said.

"Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry will learn whether this reception took place through the embassy and will take relevant measures depending on the response,” he said.
