Azerbaijani opposition can not achieve significant success in municipal elections: parliamentarian

"The current state of Azerbaijani opposition, the problems inside it and its weakness clearly indicates that the opposition can not achieve significant success in the coming municipal elections,” Chairman of Azerbaijan Ana Vatan (Homeland) Party and member of Azerbaijani Milli Majlis (parliament) Fazail Agamali said.

"It is an axiom that does not require proof. It is a reality. To understand this does not require to conduct a study. It is enough to look at the situation within the opposition and to draw attention to the opposition press,” he said.
 
Agamali said the reason behind weakness of the Azerbaijani opposition is that Azerbaijani people do not support political course of the traditional opposition.

"The opposition has a biased, prejudicial attitude about what is happening in the country,” he said.

"The weakness of the opposition is reasonable,” Agamali added.
