Azerbaijan president receives chief of Iranian presidential office

President Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of the visit for discussing current state and prospects of bilateral relations between the two countries.

The President stressed Azerbaijan and Iran enjoy successful cooperation in various fields.

President Ilham Aliyev said he believes “the visit and meetings you will hold during it will contribute to strengthening cooperation between our countries”.

Mashaie conveyed Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad `s greetings to the Head of State.
He also presented Mahmoud Ahmadinejad `s letter to President Ilham Aliyev.

President Ilham Aliyev asked Mashaie to deliver his greetings to the Iranian leader.
