180 people took signature sheets to participate in municipal elections in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan's election constituencies registered 256 candidates for the local elections in Azerbaijan.
The Central Election Commission (CEC) said 180 of them took signature sheets.

A total of 75 of those who took signature sheets are persons with higher education, 96 persons with secondary education, the others with incomplete higher and incomplete secondary education.

A total of 163 of those who took signature sheets put forward their candidacies independently, 15 were nominated by ruling New Azerbaijan Party and 2 by Umid Party and 1 by Musavat.
