OSCE Baku office comments on Azerbaijan's Electoral Code

Azerbaijan will hold municipal elections Dec. 23. Electoral Code of the Azerbaijani Republic was adopted in 2003. It was designed together with the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe, as well as the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights.

Jankorel said that it is possible to make amendments in electoral legislation on several issues.

OSCE office in Baku plans to discuss electoral legislation with heads of political parties during 'round table' on the eve of elections, he said.
