Azerbaijan, Pakistan discuss military and political cooperation

Azerbaijani Minister of Defense Safar Abiyev and Pakistani Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Tariq Majid discussed prospects of Azerbaijani-Pakistani military and political cooperation in Baku on Oct. 5.
The talks were held during Tariq Majid's visit to Baku, Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said.

During the meeting the sides discussed situation in Caucasus and Middle East, as well as ways to solve Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Today Pakistani Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee visited memorial of Azerbaijani national leader Heydar Aliyev and the Martyrs' Alley.
