Azerbaijan to build more than 20 border outposts and commandant's offices this year

More than 20 new border outposts and commandant's offices will be built along state borders of Azerbaijan this year, Chief of the State Border Office Lieutenant-General Elchin Guliyev said.
He said measures to strengthen state borders were continued. New engineer installations are built and existent installations are replaced with new ones, buildings of frontier outposts and commandant's offices are overhauled and supplied with new equipments.

Guliyev said construction of dwelling buildings for the frontier guards was also completed and measures were taken to solve housing problems of the border service staff.
