U.S. President Barack Obama said at a bilateral meeting with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan that he was aware of "critical importance" of resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Anadolu news agency reported.

The two leaders discussed the problems of the Middle East, Turkey as well as between Armenia and Azerbaijan during the meeting in Pittsburgh.
President Obama welcomed the progress achieved in recent years in Turkey-Armenia relations and noted its importance for the entire region.
