Azerbaijan’s Consulate General in U.S. hosts dinner for diplomatic missions

Heads of diplomatic missions accredited in southern California attended the event. Doyen of the consular corps - Consul General of Spain Innokentino Arias, Consul General of Azerbaijan Elin Suleymanov and President of the Pacific Council on International Relations Jerry Green addressed the meeting, Azerbaijani Consulate General in Los Angeles said.

In his speech.Green spoke about foreign policy of the Obama administration, in particular, about policy towards the Muslim world. He also shared his impressions on a recent visit to Azerbaijan, which he cited as an example of a tolerant society which actively undergoes reforms.

In July 2009, James Green took part in a conference on the 90th anniversary of Azerbaijan's diplomacy in Baku and also delivered a speech at the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
