Azerbaijan-Israel cooperation discussed in U.S.

Azerbaijan-Israel round table on bilateral cooperation were held in this city on Sept. 16.

The event was attended by representatives of the Consulate Generals of both countries in the U.S.

Azerbaijani Consul General to the U.S. Elin Suleymanov and Israeli Consul General Jacob Dayan addressed the meeting.

In his remarks Suleymanov noted the recent active development of dialogue between Baku and Tel Aviv.

Dayan, in turn, spoke about the warm reception held in Baku for  Israeli President Shimon Peres. He also spoke about bilateral economic relations and expansion of areas of cooperation between countries.

Both Consul General noted that basis of the Azerbaijani-Israeli relations has been laid by Heydar Aliyev and these relations are rapidly developing and gaining momentum due to the efforts of President Ilham Aliyev.
