“There is still much to do before reopening the borders,” Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davudoglu said in Tbilisi in response to a question about recently negotiated Turkey-Armenia protocols.

On the first day of his trip Davudoglu visited the Square that was once densely populated by Azerbaijanis, ancient bathhouses and Cuma mosque.
Today the Foreign Minister will meet with Georgia’s President Mikheil Saakashvili.
Davudoglu told journalists that he will also visit Abkhazia.
“We want to familiarize ourselves with Abkhazia and try to improve its relations with Georgia,” he said.
