Azerbaijani parliament’s senior official visits Montenegro

During the visit, Latif Huseynov, as a representative of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe, met with members of the government and parliament of this country, the ombudsman and other officials, and representatives of nongovernmental organizations.

The meetings focused on issues related to Montenegro’s draft law on “Prohibition of Discrimination” as well as legal and practical aspects of combating discrimination in this former Yugoslav republic. Huseynov presented a written opinion on the bill to the Venice Commission.
