Azerbaijani community of Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan has been re-registered with the Justice Ministry.
“Because of amendments to the regulations at the June meeting, we appealed to the Justice Ministry and received a good feedback,” head of coordination council of Azerbaijani community of Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan Mehdi Abdullayev said.
Abdullayev said changes in the name of community and adoption of new regulations necessitated re-registration. "We faced no difficulties with registration as we have legal address," head of the council said.
The first meeting of Azerbaijani community of Nagorno-Karabakh was held on June 5. Reforming of the community's structure was discussed at the meeting. As a result, decision was made to rename Azerbaijani community of Nagorno-Karabakh region into community of Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijani. Head of Shusha city administration Bayram Safarov was elected head of the community.
