Azerbaijani defense minister receives U.S. mayor general

The meeting with the commander of Oklahoma National Guards focused on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.


Azerbaijani Defense Minister Safar Abiyev received a delegation led by the Oklahoma National Guard Mayor General Myles Deering on July 9.

The meeting focused on U.S.-Azerbaijan relations, development of military cooperation and exchange of views on military and political situation in the region. Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was also matter of debate.
