Matthew Bryza dismisses reports on appointment as US ambassador to Azerbaijan

APA reported quoting Novosti Armenia as saying.

During the press conference with other OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, Bryza noted that he had not had a new appointment: “I am a co-chair of OSCE Minsk Group. There were even rumors about my new other appointments in European countries. I don’t know fortunately or unfortunately, my president did not appoint me to another position”.

The American co-chair said that the main instruction he was given by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was to contribute to the solution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

Earlier Regnum reported about Matthew Bryza’s appointment as the US ambassador to Azerbaijan quoting senior official of the US State Department as saying.
