Russian ambassador: Azerbaijan needs more attention in Russia

Russian ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladimir Dorokhin said.

“The Russian ambassador to any country in the world can not but feel proud when a citizen of the country that he represents rewarded a high award. This is fourth representative of Russia who was awarded the Order of Friendship in Azerbaijan,” Dorokhin said on Friday during the presentation of the book by Russian writer Rudolf Ivanov.

Russian writer who was awarded Order of Friendshipp in Azerbaijan Rudolf Ivanov presented a book In Name of the Soviet Union in Baku on July 3.

Turning to the Azerbaijani public, the Russian ambassador said that the Russians appreciates attention to its representatives engaged in Azerbaijan.

'Your books  make a strong contribution to strengthening of cooperation and good neighborly relations between Russia and Azerbaijan. Believe me, Russia is interested in strengthening such relations and we are interested in spreading more information about Azerbaijan in Russia,” Dorokhin said.
