Azerbaijan hold joint military events with USA, Turkey, Germany and Pakistan

Azerbaijan-US working meeting on the Strategic Defense Survey and Final Document Support will take place in Baku on July 6-10 in accordance with the bilateral cooperation plan, press service of the Defense Ministry told APA. Non-Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction in the Sea Ports course will take place on July 13-17, second half of the US Mobile Exercise Group’s maritime operation course – on July 26-31, Joint Combat Readiness training in Oklahoma on July 14-22, US-Azerbaijan consultations in Washington DC, on July 29-30.
According to the cooperation plan between Azerbaijan and Turkey, High Sea Exercise will be held in Istanbul on July 13-August 10, Foreign Troops Party Commander course on July 13-24, WMD Defense course in Golchuk, Kocaeli, Turkey on July 20-31, Navy Security officer’s course in Altinova, Yalova, Turkey on July 20-24.
Third International Exercise-Workshop on Multinational Operations’ Medical Personnel training will take place in Munich, Germany on July 6-10 according to the bilateral cooperation plan signed between Azerbaijan and Germany. Sonthofen, Germany will host the senior officers for the course on WMD Defense Policy of Germany on July 14-24.
Improving Command Course will take place in Cherat, Pakistan on July 6, 2009 – February 7, 2010 in accordance with the Azerbaijan-Pakistan cooperation plan. Young engineer-officers will gather in Risalpur, Pakistan on July 6-December 26, Young Ground Troops Officers’ course will take place in Quetta, Pakistan on July 6-August 29, Combined Arm Tactics course on August 31-November 28, Basic Airborne course in Peshavar, Pakistan on July 6-August 1, Azerbaijan Defense Ministry Expert Group’s visit to Pakistan’s military bases on July 25-28. Representatives of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces will take part at the events.
