Political scientist: I do not think the visits of heads of states to Azerbaijan might promote resolution of the Karabakh conflict

"I think war is needed to settle the Karabakh problem and return the occupied lands of Azerbaijan", noted he.

"On the whole, I assess Medvedev's visit to Azerbaijan as positive. Economic relations with close neighbor Azerbaijan are strengthening and this is normal. And while we are building relations with Russia, we should think of Azerbaijanis, residing in this country", concluded the political scientist.

Notably, Medvedev paid a one-day visit to Azerbaijan Monday.
