Turkey's consulate general to open in Ganja

"The consulate will issue passports, hold notarial procedures. There are Turkish banks, entrepreneurs from Turkey in Ganja and the consulate will provide services to them as well", Hulusi Kilic told reporters upon completion of the meeting with Ganja mayor, according to Interfax-Azerbaijan.

The ambassador noted that currently an appropriate building for the consulate is being searched. The diplomat said the building is expected to locate near the building of the executive powers of the city.

Turkey's consulate general is expected to start activity in Ganja on September 15.
