Azerbaijan's communist party: Reduction in number of municipalities would improve their work

He said if the parliament has put for discussion and adopted the law, under which the number of municipalities is reduced, this is a positive event.

"If logically, the reduction in the number of municipalities would improve their activity. At the same time, it is initially difficult to say how this innovation will be reflected in practice", noted Gurbanov.

The party chairman also noted that the party holds all necessary works due to participation in municipal elections.

"The party will complete zonal sessions by September. At the next session the party bureau will ratify candidates that will work in the regions", noted Gurbanov.
