Iran prohibits international mass medias to highlight protest actions

17 June 2009 [09:05] - TODAY.AZ
The Iranian government has prohibited international mass medias to highlight protest actions held in the country following presidential elections.
The decision was taken after several reports about violence against supporters of candidate Mir Hussein Musavi appeared in mass medias.

The journalists are allowed to go on air from offices and hotels, but reports from streets are strictly prohibited.

Seven people in Iran reportedly died in clashes with the police.
