MP: Law on education will create basis for serious reforms in education system

"The framework draft law on education, which was approved by the Committee on Education and Science of Milli Medjlis and recommended for consideration at the plenary session of the parliament, is very important for the country", said chairman of the Azerbaijan Democratic Reforms Party, Asim Mollazade, according to Novosti-Azerbaijan.

"The framework law will further be amended by laws on higher, secondary and technical education, as well as the law on science", noted Mollazade.

He said this law will further create a legislative basis for serious reforms in education. As for higher education, it is being reformed under the European standards and will become a part of the Bologna system".

"Therefore, I believe this is one of the most important laws, which the parliament of Azerbaijan should approve at its session on June 19. And the new laws, which will follow it, will create a legislative basis of the educational system of the country", said the chairman of the party.
