Azerbaijani FM: Position of official Baku on the negotiation process and the meeting of presidents was voiced by Elmar Mamedyarov and it remains the same

"We do not comment on statements by the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Armenia", said spokesman for Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Elkhan Poluhov, voicing attitude towards statements of Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan that "Azerbaijan uses talks not to attain definite results but for other purposes".

"We announce that the position of Azerbaijan in relation to the negotiation process and the Summit of Heads of State was announced by the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov, and our position remains the same", he said.

"We evaluate the meeting of Presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Saint Petersburg as useful and stressed definite progress", noted Poluhov.
