The unsettled sections of the state border between Azerbaijan and Georgia will be discussed in terms of a regular session of the Azerbaijani-Georgian interstate commission on delimitation and demarcation of state border in Tbilisi on June 17-18, according to Georgian ambassador to Azerbaijan Nicholaz Natbiladze.

The session will be attended by the Azerbaijani governmental commission headed by deputy foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov.

The unsettled issue also affects the destiny of one of the most important cultural and religious places of interest -David Gareji's monastery located on the border between the two states.

Azerbaijan and Georgia have already agreed on 65% of state border, extending to 480 kilometers.
