Azerbaijani opposition party to take part in municipal elections

He said by the decision of the political board the party is holding necessary works in connection with participation in the elections.

"In the near future we will start holding zonal sessions. The regional organizations have already received due instructions in connection with preparation to elections".

The party chairman also clarified the issue of differences that appeared in the party due to participation in the municipal elections.

"As a chairman of the Open Society Party, I state that the political structure has no differences due to participation in the elections. This information is untrue. We are completely ready for the municipal elections", noted he.

Notably, the party is led by former speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament Rasul Guliyev, currently residing in the United States.
