"Difference between the United States and Russia might lead to a new war for Nagorno Karabakh and unfortunately the forced resolution of the conflict can not be ruled out completely, said head of the Analytical Center for Globalization and Regional Cooperation Stepan Grigoryan.
"Armenia and Azerbaijan failed to reach a consensus through 15 years. Yet at the same time, the parties do not strive too much to the forced solution of the conflict. At the same time, if the interests of Moscow or Washington demand it, the exclusion of the armed solution will not depend on Yerevan and Baku any longer", noted he.
As an example, Grigoryan stressed the five-day war in Georgia. He said at that time Moscow received significant negative impulses on dislocation of US missile defense systems in Eastern Europe and compensated them by the Georgian campaign.
