The Head of State toured the facility and viewed the production process.
The President addressed the inauguration ceremony.
Other speakers at the ceremony included President of the Azerbaijan International Mining Operation Company Reza Vaziri, head of Anglo-Asian Mining PLC John Sununu and the Azerbaijan International Mining Operation Company’s chief engineer in Gadabay Shakir Gadimov.

The President visited the monument of great leader Heydar Aliyev in Gedabey.

Initially, the head of state visited the monument of national leader of our people Heydar Aliyev and laid flowers at its foot.

In addition, the President attended the ground breaking ceremony of the Ashug music school.
 
The Head of State first got acquainted with the project of a two-storey building, which will be built in a classical style. President Ilham Aliyev has laid a sleeve to the foundation.

The Head of State spoke to ashugs and took photos with them for memory.

President Ilham Aliyev wrapped up his Goygol trip and arrived in Shamkir region.
He started his trip by putting flowers at a monument to nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev.
The Head of State familiarized himself with the construction work done around the monument.
During the trip, President Ilham Aliyev also inaugurated Shamkir Olympic Sports Complex.
The Head of State attended a groundbreaking ceremony for a reservoir to be built on the Shamkir river.

According to AzerTac, on May 25 President of Azerbaijan met and had a cordial talk with public representatives of Ganja at the city square named after great leader Heydar Aliyev.

"I am happy to be in Ganja again. I am glad to see the great innovations every time I visit this city. I am confident that you are also happy with this. The great work has been carried for the development of Ganja in the past years. Both local executive bodies and the city activists made a huge work in this direction. On the whole, it is Ganja residents that build their wonderful city, which is improving and getting more beautiful with the construction of new buildings.

I am glad that even during crisis the construction does not stop. The economic crisis that covered the entire world influences Azerbaijan as well. But we are trying to minimize this impact. On the other hand, the available forces and economic potential of Azerbaijan give a ground to say that this is temporary, said the President.

"We are concerned by the temporary shutdown of large enterprises. I believe that soon these companies will restore their activities. People who work there are provided by the State, their wages are paid and will be paid," said the President.

Fundamentals of independence of Azerbaijan were established in Ganja, said the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

"The active role of Ganja and Ganja people is well known to all Azeri people. At all times Ganja people played an important role in the development of Azerbaijan as an independent country," said the Head of State.

He noted that today, Azerbaijan lives as an independent country, holds an independent policy and governed by people. "The independent policy allows us to protect the national interests of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan plays a great rolenot only in the economic and the political sphere in connection with the events ongoing in the region, but it can also protect its interests.

President Ilham Aliyev appreciated the fact that despite the crisis, the construction work continues in Azerbaijan.

The President appreciated the implementation of state program «On the social-economic development of regions» in the last five years and said that a new program for the next five years has been prepared.

"The main sector of our economy is energy. In connection with the decline in oil prices, oil exporting countries, including Azerbaijan, were faced with some difficulties. Despite that all of the social programs are implemented and the infrastructure projects continue. The crisis has had also positively impact on Azerbaijan, consumer prices fell. The employees of budgetary institutions receive their salaries in time, pensions are paid. Their sizes are increasing from year to year and will grow. During these months, also the economy has grown. During the worldwide economic decline, there is growth in Azerbaijan in this sphere", said the President.

A memorial plaque has been established on the residence of National Council and Government of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (ADR) in Ganja. ADR was established in 1918 in this city. The building now belongs to the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the inauguration ceremony on May 25, AzerTaj state news agency reported.

As known, a radiogram sent from this building to the world countries announced on proclamation of state independence of Azerbaijan.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today inspected renovation of the monument to genius Azerbaijani poet Nizami Ganjavi located in the center of old Ganja.
Renovation of the shabby pedestal of the monument is scheduled to be completed on June 15, National Salvation Day. Improvements around the monument included installation of the new lighting system and benches
The bronze monument was erected in 1949.

President Ilham Aliyev inaugurated a central hospital in Goygol region.
After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the Head of State familiarized himself with the Hospital.
The construction of the 180-bed hospital started in 2007.
The 4-hectare hospital has been equipped with modern medical devices brought from Japan, the Republic of Korea, Germany and other European countries.
President Ilham Aliyev congratulated the hospital`s staff and posed for photographs together with them.

Day.Az reports with reference to the official website of the President that the opening of the park of culture and resort was held in the center of Geygel. The opening ceremony was attended by president of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

The park has everything for relaxation of residents. Particular beauty to the park grants a green theater for more than 300 spectators intended for different arrangements and concerts. Youth House, a hall table games and the shooting range is functioning for the pleasant and useful time of the youth.

In addition, the park has a sports ground of 200 square meters and special attractions for children are built there.
