OSCE Chairperson-in-Office to visit Azerbaijan

He said Greece was interested in ITGI project for transportation of the Azerbaijani gas to Europe via Turkey. The Deputy Foreign Minister said he aimed visiting Azerbaijan to discuss the ways of further development of bilateral relations and to achieve development of trade relations between the two countries. Nearly 40 business people are accompanying the Greek Deputy Foreign Minister in his visit to Azerbaijan. Varvitsiotis said Azerbaijan and Greece had wide prospects of cooperation in the construction, agriculture and tourism. He said Greek foreign minister and OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Dora Bakoyannis would visit Azerbaijan in the second half of the year. “Dora Bakoyannis will visit Azerbaijan as the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office. At first, we are looking forward to welcome Azerbaijani Foreign Minister at the OSCE Ministerial Council’s meeting in Corfu”.
