Armenian MFA: The core of the Karabakh settlement lies in the right of Nagorno-Karabakh people to self-determination

"The basis in the settlement of the Karabakh problem is the realization of the right of Nagorno-Karabakh people to self-determination", said Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Shavarsh Kocharian, commenting on statements by the Azerbaijani side that the issue of refugees is a priority in talks on resolving the Karabakh conflict.

"Such statements contradict to and distort both the essence of the problem the content of the negotiation process. The core of the Karabakh settlement lies in the right of Nagorno-Karabakh people to self-determination", reports the press service for the Foreign Ministry.
