Head of Center of Political Innovations and Technologies: The tragedy at the Oil academy is a carefully planned political terror

06 May 2009 [15:47] - TODAY.AZ
The bloody events that occurred at the Azerbaijani State Oil Academy on April 30 was a specially designed political terror, said head of the Center for Political Innovation and Technology Mubariz Ahmedoglu.
"The most interesting thing is that the killer of innocent students at Oil Academy, and a killer who killed the famous Azeri journalist, chief editor of the Monitor magazine monitor Elmar Huseynov were both Azerbaijanis from the Marneuli region", he said.

According to him, someone is trying hard to drive a wedge in relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan.

"For the same purpose, the attempt of murder of the head of the Armenian Mitk analytical center Levon Melik-Shahnazaryan was organized. It was committed by the Armenian criminal "Turkish Arshak" (Arshak Aghababian), who also comes from the Marneuli region of Georgia", said Ahmedoghlu.

The political scientist has proposed that the Georgian authorities should allow Azerbaijani special services engage in investigative activities to investigate all of these facts on the territory of Georgia.

"It is an important fact. The terrorist attack on the Oil Academy in Baku took place on 30 April, when the UN formally discussed the issue of the occupied territories of Azerbaijan. The Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon made a report, which defended the interests of our country, and this paper notes that the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan can be restored by means of peaceful dialogue between Baku and Yerevan. That is, in the near future we can ensure the adoption of the resolution on the occupied Azerbaijani territories by the UN Security Council", said M. Ahmedoglu.
