Vice speaker of parliament: Intensification of talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia brings confidence about the soonest resolution of the Karabakh conflict

"The recent intensification of talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia creates confidence about the soonest resolution of the Karabakh conflict. The statements, voiced by the presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Moscow, cause optimism", said vice speaker of Milli Medjlis, head of Azerbaijani delegation in PACE Bahar Muradova.

She said it proves the progress in the negotiation process. The vice speaker also stressed intensiveness of visits of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs to the region that are of important nature and will promote the soonest resolution of the conflict.

"If the parties make optimistic statements due to the resolution of the conflict, it is unfair not to believe them. Azerbaijan insists on the peaceful and fair resolution of the Karabakh conflict and will never turn off this way", added the vice speaker.
