MG French co-chair: Establishment of relations between Armenia and Turkey is successful and useful for all countries of the region

According to Bryza, the officials of the United States, France and Russia always believed that establishment of ties between Armenia and Turkey will play an important role for development of the whole region.

He added that the agreement fixed a "positive political and diplomatic energy and works, conducted in the whole region". "This energy also promotes the resolution of the Karabakh conflict. We consider that these two processes will be promoted in separate, on par and on different speed", said he.

In turn, Fassier added that the French leadership is welcoming this first step, aimed at the possible resolution of the Armenian-Turkish relations. "Establishment of ties between Armenia and Turkey proceeds successfully and it is useful for all countries of the region", explained he.

Fassier also noted that all processes, aimed at strengthening stability and security in the region, can have only positive consequences for the region.
