There are forces both internal and foreign trying to harm the Azerbaijani-Turkish relations, Azerbaijani deputy of Parliament Ganira Pahayeva said.

"Azerbaijani-Turkish relations have always been on the highest level. There are countries which want to break these relations," Pashayeva said at a press conference dedicated to Azerbaijan's social and political activity related to "Armenian genocide".
Every year on April 24 Armenians mark anniversary of the so-called "genocide", falsifying historical facts, making baseless claims against Ankara. In 2006, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan proposed to Armenian President to create a joint commission. However, the Armenian side did not accept the proposal saying that it did not have a doubt on interpretation of the event.
There are not historical documents proving the so called "Armenian genocide", therefore Armenians reject Turkey's proposal to investigate archives jointly.
"Turks throughout of world must combat Armenians' lie and prevent it. Pashayeva called Turks to protest Armenia's attempts to recognize the "Armenian genocide" by 100 countries.
